How We Do It

From the seven days of creation in Genesis to the seven seals of Revelation, Scripture is saturated with the number seven. Biblical scholars have recognized the number seven has special symbolic significance within the word of God.

In Holy Scripture, seven is a number of completeness, divine perfection, and the indication something is finished—as in the seven days of creation recorded in the first chapter of Genesis. God spent six days creating the earth and then rested on the seventh, modeling a pattern for all mankind to follow.

Used 735 times (54 times in the book of Revelation alone), the number seven is elemental in God's word. If we include with this count how many times “sevenfold” (6) and “seventh” (119) are used, our total increases to 860 references!

At Life Learning Community, the number seven is significant in telling the story of who we are and how we strive to serve our students. The content found within our Promises, Pillars, and Teaching Modalities answer many of the questions families have for us as they seek the best educational community for their children.
